Website Goal
Our website is designed with a focus on youth, offering comprehensive cybersecurity information and tools to help navigate the digital world safely and securely.
We first created this project as part of our Information Systems: Project Management class at Wilfrid Laurier University. Under the instruction of Dr. Rima Khatib, we created a website for information about cybersecurity and tricks to stay safe online.
Design Goals
OUR SOLUTION MUST:
Create a seamless and simple way to access cybersecurity resources and information.
Have information catered to youth and primary-level students for better understanding.
Provide fun resources for users to access and make the process of learning how to be safe enjoyable and exciting.
Website Creation Process
We continued work on the website design in Wix, an online website building platform. My partner, Sydney Fabbricino and I collaborated equally on all pages to create a seamless look.
Using Wix, we created our own styles to match our colour scheme and logo, and carried it throughout the site.
The students from the Spring 2023 course term continued work on the content for the website, including infographics, podcasts, videos, and blog posts. We took this content and added it to the site accordingly, ensuring the design and layout remained the same.
Final Website
We made changes to the site and were able to publish it in October of 2023.
The site was shared with members of our Information Systems: Project Management class, as well as the Spring term classmates.
The announcement about the site was added to our respective Linkedin platforms and shared with the University.
